We Are Hiring!

General Information

You are interested in joining a team of volunteers who have to do a lot of work and won't get paid for it? Look no further, we got you covered!
PHC is always on the lookout for talented and eager people to join a team that is dedicated to bringing a good time to the people, for free.

We offer a variety of positions in different teams. Down below you will find a brief summary of the usual tasks and skills required for each team. You don't have to have every listed skill to join us, there are subdevisions in every team so you can focus on the one thing you're best at if you want, or help out where you can in multiple areas.
Generally, everyone is encuraged to bring in their own ideas. We aspire to make every event better then the last!

What we expect from every applicant

Good Communication Skills

Most of our tasks require you to work in your own paste. Sometimes you get tasks assigned. Nothing is ever written in stone. Even a day one member is encuraged to voice their opinions and ideas towards their Team Leader or our Director. When a task is unclear or you need more input, actively communicate with your fellow staffers. There is nothing more frustrating then thinking about an assigned task and not knowing what to do. Communication is the key to solve all issues and everyone is happy to lend a hand. Also: if you got a task assigned that you dont want to do, or you feel like you are the wrong person to do it, speak up. We work in a very dynamic way and respect that everyone is working here on a volunteer basis.

Time

Nobody is required to do a certain amount of work each month. Placeholder always worked on the principle "Reallife comes first!". You are always free to take on work when you are available, or have a break when life gets to busy. We've all been there. Key to this is good communication. Let your Team Leader know when you think you might not be able to take care of your tasks in time. Open communication is once again key. If you're not able to take on work for an extended amount of time, please have a talk with your Team Leader so we can plan accordingly.

Reliability

Once again this ties in with communicaiton skills. If you are unresponsive to messages, you let deadlines pass without telling anyone, or never show up for the meetings, maybe teamwork isn't cut out for you. We expect you to do your work in a responsible fashion. This doesn't mean that you have to do everything perfectly and always in time, but it means that if something goes south, you need to let us know and we will work together on solving the issue, reschedule or reassign tasks.
